My wisteria sinensis had quite small flowers in length last year. Should I feed this and if so with what? I would like this to flower before too much leaf growth. Should I be watering this also - it is planted next to the house on a 8ft patio where a couple of slabs were removed to allow this to be planted.
Thanks Pattie Holman

This year, feed it with a low nitrogen, moderate phosphate, and moderate potash fertilizer right after it blooms, and feed it again in July or August. That will set it up for next year's bloom. Sadly, there isn't a whole lot you can do for this year's bloom.

How do I say thanks?
