my chamaerops have suffered from the frost all the leaves are brown should i cut it back

Cut all the brown leaves off, but leave the trunks for at least another month. some of them may sprout out again. Then I would cut out any trunks that don't sprout by June. You will probably get a lot of sprouts from the base, though.
