Hi everyone - I have planted a Kalmia in my Christmas present pot, in ericacious compost, and it suddenly occurred to me - I was intending to under-plant it with bedding plants and annual trailing plants for the summer - but will these thrive in ericacious compost?

No - they'll be things like trailing lobelia, scaevola, bacopa and petunias etc.
