I have a twenty something year old Rowan tree always produces beautiful berries looks a treat every year, but this winter there is this yellow fungus growing all over its branches. What can I do to save my lovely tree.

and if it is lichen then it means you have clean air. as Mg says a photo would be great in helping id your problem.

Hi Pauline and welcome to GoY. I suspect your 'yellow fungus' is actually lichen - a photo would help give a proper i.d. and advice.
