Hi
I have a block paved driveway with just a small semi circle of soil which I plant up every year with impatiens, geraniums, begonias etc. However they never look evenly planted. Sometimes they all grow into each other or taller ones grow in front of smaller ones. What is the trick to making these plants look neat in this small space.
Thank you.

« i have black insects on my japanese acer, how can i get rid of them?
when i buy plants i possition them and step back to take a look and when i satisfied i plant them, making sure smallest in height go to front of border and tallest to back, leaving about 6/12 inches apart when planting depending how big they grow, most plants will tell you how tall and wide they grow on tag
