What is this plant? I have never done this before (lies), but I've obviously forgotten to label them, erroneously thinking I would remember what they were...ha! I have so much coming through the post from various companies and hope there is a genius out there who can help. I will kick myself when I know:-))

nemesia or diascia as a first guess. Does this help?

I still think its basil, lol

Basil would be my guess too... does it smell like basil?

Basil I go for too!

Could it possibly be antirrhinum anthirodora? I've been rooting around and found ( Unwins advice note) that I should have 3 of them somewhere. I must admit it doesn't look much like any snapdragons I've seen. I will put a pic on when the flower comes out properly. Bamboo, even I wouldn't have thought basil ornamental lol:-)) I have tried to be good and put names on everything, I must have had them at least two weeks, maybe more, thanks for all your interest :-)

Louise and Sbg, I think you may be right, I've found the snapdragons lol, but do remember vaguely getting some perennial nemesia (think 'blue' ones). Unfortunately I can't remember the name or which company I bought them from, but I do know they come in packs of three 8~/ Wish I could find out their name so I know what they like, I'll keep googling:-)

you could try googling blue nemesia and see which gardening suppliers pop up. I have had to do this before now :o) especially when there can be months between ordering and getting in the post.

After a lot of detective work.. ahem, I have discovered 4 fuchsia plants carefully labelled 'diascia denim blue' I remember thinking it odd at the time as I had only ordered a 3 pack of diascia. Further confirmation came as the flower opened to a rather disappointing sludgy mauve:-( That'll teach me to order on catalogue pics, I can put a pic on if anyone is interested in seeing a mucky mauve flower lol:-) Seaburngirl...the prize is yours;-) I have not gone completely mad however, I did order some nemesia eternal from Vicky along with some heuchera, but they are not due yet:-)

Oh dear, caught by the technicolour advertising then! Still, at least you know not to put in the bolognese...

LOL Bamboo :-)))

Lol Bamboo, I think basil may have been as ornamental and certainly more useful, still my husband says they may look better later in full bloom, I think not;-)

oh bamboo that made me laugh so much.
it is so unfair when the picturs in catalogues are enhanced. I have been caught out before too. I bought my dear late mum a blue moon rose on the basis of a photo. What a lovely rose but blue it weren't :o)

I was going to suggest Clerodendrum, but according to the tape it could be a little too small.
