Hi all!
Planted 3 F1 Bella cucumber seeds, which I have potted on tonight. The packet says that under certain conditions of stress, male flowers may appear and should be removed.
How do we know which ones are male? Is it something simple?
Please help as we think we may have got it wrong last year!!
Thanks

It's fairly simple, Oddbillie. The female flowers have a little spiny-looking or fuzzy cucumber just behind the yellow flower. The male flowers don't have anything but stem behind the flower. There are also differences inside the flower, but sometimes they are a little hard to sort out.
