What size hole do you dig for a siebolds magnolia already 10 feet tall?
Should you add fertilizer? Unique soil? When can you prune it?

if it is in a pot the general rule of thumb is dig a whole at least half as big again. mix the soil with potting medium and then when the tree is in place backfill with this mix. Keep the soil level with the level of the pot soil. stake if necessary and water well for several weeks/months depending on your weather.
