hi. i have ants all over my willow tree. how would i get rid of them without harming the tree.

i would do as volunteer sais and just get some ant powder to kill them if you hate them that much.

i was just going to say the same nosey .Ants like biting me so i usually make sure i have ant powder about ,

This usually indicates that the tree has an infestation of aphids. The ants 'milk' the aphids for their honeydew secretion. This secretion is also what causes black mould to form on the plants leaves. So, you need to tackle the aphid problem first. Either spray, but avoid doing this when the bees are about or blast them off with a hose spray.
