it's actually only a small area, how big do foxgloves grow

Tall but not wide - anything between 3 to 5 feet high, but only about 8 inches wide.

Chrysogonum virginicum, (small with yellow flowers for months), Geranium macrorrhizum and G. nodusum, Anemone thalictroides, Ajuga, Dicentra, Bergenia, Astrantia.

Under the dappled shade of trees I have a mix of Epimedium, Primula, Dicentra, ferns, Hostas, Luzula sylvestris, foxgloves, Lunaria and roses. But this is dappled shade, not deep shade.

this is shade between two houses shade (not sure that this is yet a gardening term?...)and measures approx 1 and a very little bit metres squared...if i get one of each don't think i'll be able to find me house, of witch the shade comes from :)

Sounds like deep shade then, in which case, I'd be inclined to fill it with a shrub like Prunus Otto Luyken or Mahonia aquifolium.
