the best time for moving a tree is when its dorement ie winter .as davey sais very early spring or late winter i find best. if there is know hurry i would wait till next winter myself . im not saying you cant move it with a degree of sucsess after flowering but you would do much better moving it early spring.

good morning cooky .
Ideally you should have moved it earlier this month but if there is bud or flower then id wait till the flower has gone.
I moved my cherry last year about end of march and with a good hole and manure it moved well and is now about to burst into flower ( think its a latrer flowering type )
cheers davey
