I have two stone planters 48 inchesx7 inchesx 10 inches deep and I would like to put some colourful plants in which I dont have to replace every year.Any siggestions will be very much appreciated.

Hi, there are lots of lovely plants suitable for this, heucheras would be a good start. They have lovely coloured leaves and flowers and won't take over. Do you want it in full sun or part shade? Most small low growing perennials would be ok and you could plant bulbs too. Have a look on Vicky's page for heucheras. Just type Vicky in search box, have a look at her blogs and pics.
