I have had a path cut in to a slope and the remaining bank to the side of the new path has a shear edge. Does anyone know how to protect this from falling down? I wondered if there was any ground retaining mesh that you could still grow plants through to hide the sharp edge.

Many thanks for your help

There is such a thing as ground retaining mesh which can be planted through - whether you'd find this at a garden centre I'm not sure. Perhaps a large one may have it, or if not, may be able to tell you where to get it. Alternatively a good firm of landscapers may advise you on suppliers.
