I am assuming you mean the blue poppies Meconopsis - semi shade, good free draining soil, but keep moist! Some of the species are monocarpic, die after flowering, so you either need to collect seed or let them seed and the seedlings grow on. We have a whole bed which is primarily dedicate to Mecs.
