I have different types of roses. and was wondering when to prune the different ones. I bought them this year.
1 white patio rose (might be dead)
1 red patio rose
1 yellow climbing rose
1 purple climbing rose
1 pink frangrance rose
1 white fragrance rose
1 orange celebration rose
Thanks in advance

Obviously you need to deadhead through the summer too.

You don't need to prune them until winter. The traditional way is to reduce the tallest bits in autumn to reduce the risk of wind damage and then prune again early spring down to about 1ft to an outward facing bud. But many people now think all this faff is not really necessary and that a single pruning in spring is sufficient. Must admit - I do it the old way!
