my tree fern has been growing fine , the new fronds comming up realy well , then all of a sudden they wilted and turned black can anyone tell me what this is please .

the only thing that happened was wind and rain ,a few degrees temperature drop but no frost,thanks for your reply

Did you have a sudden drop in temperature, recently, or around the time just before this happened? Frost damage on new, tender growth can cause this.
