NEED CLARIFICATION ON QUESTION/ANSWERS

I seem to get a tad confused when someone answers my question and I would like to respond to that person. Do I answer from my homepage where their response to me appears? Or, do I go to their homepage and respond? I have used the personal meesage to before....but I'd like to respond in the general public sometimes. Help! :) :(

Thanks Peter. That helped a bunch. I've never paid any attention to the News Tab...I guess that would be a very good idea!

Hi 1198, If you respond to your own question (in public) people generally tend to notice, and is what I would do to respond in public. Your response will also be shown on their 'news' tab.
If you look at your own 'news' tab it tells you about new comments on things which you have commented on in the past. For example, it will tell you that there are new comments on AndrewR's 'visiting gardens' blog because you commented on it.
I hope that helps and isn't just confusing?
