I have a crimson price acer its leaves are not dry just very limp I live in the midlands any ideas?

Mine were like that too when they first appeared but a week or two later they're looking as good as ever. Hope yours will too.

Acer is now looking much better I replaced some of its soil and added a little fish and blood bone It has really picked up well

That's good news. I think I read somewhere that the red acers always look like that when they first come into leaf. I'm sure mine do.
