Anyone still use wooden seed trays?
I remember as child my Grandad using wooden seeds trays.
I would like to use vintage seed trays .

Not now Kath, Plastic has taken over, wooden ones did not dry out so quickly. 60 plants per tray with a multi dibber. 100 trays a day with Marigolds. It's the same with plastic pots. Terracotta 60s, 48s, & 54s, heavy to carry, Chrsyanths in 10s, those were the days.

I only use plastic now, Scotkat. Appart from the difficulty of finding wooden trays and the price differential, I would be very concerned about cleaning and sterilising them.
