Glad you enjoy it, Izzy - and I want to say thanks for all the questions - I thought I was too old and stale to learn any more, couldn't be bothered, but I find I've learnt quite a lot over the last year, either from trying to answer questions, or reading other people's informed answers.

Isobel I enjoy my time here and I have learnt quite a bit from other members and love receiving advice too since I am also less knowledgable :-)

I'm not very knowledgable either Izzie, but I could browse this site for hours (and frequently do) and never get anything done. It's so informative and the pics and garden ideas are great!

I've just reread my own comment, as well as the others - my description makes me sound like an old digestive biscuit...

Izzy as Bamboo has said the questions make us think and there a) keep our brains active and b) mean we learn more too... I hope you continue to have fun on GoY.

As someone who is teaching part-time, doing RHS Horticulture and Garden Design...(if I ever get the latter started).... childminding one grandchild sometimes....AND trying to propogate plants, I never have enough hours in the day BUT I can learn so much just from your responses to questions!

My only complaint is that, like Dylandog, I spend far too much time browsing the site...and not getting things done!

I woul like to second that Izzy, I thought I knew quite a bit about gardening, now I know I still have soooo much to learn, and thanks to all those lovely experienced gardeners, who share their knowledge

I would like to second your remark and thank all those experienced gardeners for sharing their knowledge - I am learning something every day, and I find spending time on Growsonyou is time well spent

I agree totally, the questions pages are great, learned alot from it.

I dont think we ever stop learning. There are so many plants out there that i have never grown but would love too.
lost count of cold coffee, burnt spuds etc :o)
Also made so real friends on here too.

I completely agree, get loads of enjoyment and learning from other people's questions and comments. Great site.
