Is now a good time to put compost on flower beds?

Hi, I would leave it for about another4 weeks or so, to give the soil time to warm up a bit, and hopefully get a bit drier, you don't want it saturated all summer, just moist, Derek.

I've mulched my beds this week [usual time for me unless frozen/covered in snow] with compost from my own bins. I m leaving it to be worked in by the worms.

Thanks Derek and SBG. I'm so dying to get out there and do something, so I am gonna use my lovely home-made compost on the beds albeit a bit early given all the rain.

How do I say thanks?
