MY PLANT HAS SEVERAL SIDE SHOOTS AROUND THE BASE SHOULD THESE BE REMOVED OR LEFT?AND ARE THERE ANY BENFITS TO REMOVING THEM?

hi i bought 2 a couple of years ago. and now i have 17 just by cutting off the shoots and repotting them up make sure you use a sharp knife to cut down between the shoot and plant so you cut some root off with it best do this when repotting as its easier to see what you are cutting. dont forget to protect the stem of the plant from frost or your plant will start from the roots as a new shoot next year.
