looking after avocado plant.
My avocado is now about three feet tall, and I follow all the advice that I could find,is it natural for the leaves to go brown at the tips during the winter month should these be cut off or just left

I had a large avocado plant many years ago , grown from a stone. It reached about the height of your tree and started to fail. I think they seem evergreen, so will have to replace a leaf every so often. If all the leaves are discoloured it may be that, as a potentially large tree ,they can only grow so far, in a pot, without suffering.

Many thanks for your help and advice I feel that at the end of the season I shall put it into a larger pot
