Please can anyone identify this shrub? I know there is an azalea there too, but it's the small purple flowered shrub I'm interested in. Many thanks.

I can only see the azalea, some flowers open and some in bud.

Oh maybe that's what it is! I hadn't realised the closed buds were azaleas too--still learning! Thank you.
