I have a large plum tree in my garden. I have recently moved into my house and the first time i've had a garden and i'm a bit concerned that the tree is yet to blossom or grow any leaves. The tree looks a bit sorry for itself. Is this normal for a plum tree?

Not really, specially not in London - the plum tree in one of my gardens has had blossom for the last couple of weeks and is now leafing up. Are you sure its a plum?
