Please can you identify this fungi which is growing in my raised beds where I will shortly be planting runner beans and sprout plants. Will it be harmful to either the plants or the people who eat the vegetables. I suspect that it may have come in with farmyard manure. Thanks for your help.

i had the same fungus in the council soil improver i got,i couldnt find it in any of my books so i guess its an ok one,but it hasnt effected any of the plants it was near,so i would agree with seaburngirl just throw the fungus away,and plant as normal.

i'd leave it to rot down what ever it is rotting. this will return nutrients back to the soil for you.

dont know what fungus it is but it wont harm your fruit and veg. dont eat the fungus yourself though.
