My silk tassel bush only flowered on one branch this year. It is about 3m tall against a wall and has grey dry flowers on it, presumably from last year. I have just inherited the plant in the garden of our new house. Is there something wrong? Do I need to feed it or anything? It is next to another large shrub too so I wondered if it was too close or under nourished or something. It has got lots of new growth over the past month or so. Some of the leaves look a bit spotty. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I don't know, but the hard winter we've had can be blamed for a multitude of sins.
