Help please! As I have never grown tayberries am wondering about space in my raised beds.Is an arch perhaps a better solution to trellis? Anne

Growing things like loganberries, blackberries etc you are best growing all one year's canes to one side and training the next year's to the other. This makes it easier to cut out the old wood every autumn after fruiting. You might find pruning this way rather difficult on an arch.

If you use a trellis this would be a lot easier to do, but bear in mind that it would need to be very strongly supported.
