I want to buy a sturdy mature rose bush (Peace) to plant in my mother's memory in a care facility in the UK. I can ony find on web 'bare root' offers which look like starter roses and cost between £7.95 and £27.95. It is hard to see the difference between the plants at different prices anyway but had more in mind a price of about £50 - £75 for a properly established rose bush - maybe 5 years old? Can anyone help or advise? Ideally we would want it planting too.

Welcome, Helen, and my condolences.
I would start calling around to the local garden centers and nurseries, but you are unlikely to find one more than 3 years old. The gardeners at the care facility aren't likely to want to plant one older than that, anyway, because roses, like most plants, like to grow into the spot they live in. I hope you find something good, though.
