We have a Palm tree in our garden, we think it is an Angelsey Palm, as we live in the area.
Ever year it has a flower spike which dies back, what do we do with it, the tree is getting to tall to reach the spike, which we have been cutting off.
Any help would be most apprecated

If you can reach it, cut it off, if not, then it'll just have to sit there and turn to seed. I have two I tend and have the same problem - can't reach with my loppers, though this year I've bought a telescopic extending pair, might be able to reach with those, but normally, have to get the stepladder out.
