Ive had this Rosemary about 8 years .I am a bit unhappy in how it is now.As you can see half of it has died all of a sudden and only a little bit either end is alive. I have no idea why its happened ,
I know they die eventually but even my mums did not end up like this and she had hers for over 20 years

It'll be the winter that's done this - cut out all the old, dead wood, see what you're left with. Might be better to replace it if its unbearably ugly!
