Can anyone identify which sort of contorted willow this is? Is it one of the large trees? Trying to find a place for it in the garden and this depends on size.

They can be kept as a smaller bush if you trim them back each year. Mine is only about 7' high, but there is one in the village which has not been pruned and it is getting to be quite a big tree. it's called 'Contorted Willow' or 'Salix tortuosa'. Hope this helps.

Don't know the type, but looks like my curly willow - planted as a big stick 5 years ago, now about 12 feet high! Needs to be away from your house, as the roots can damage drains seeking out water.
