ihave a rhubarb plant in its 2nd year it has sprouted a few very long stalks which have whiteish flowers similar to elderflower is this usual and what do i do can i eat the rhubarb

pull the stems with the flowers on and throw away .The stems with OUT flowers should be ok for eating
