I have just read an article on the internet from the Telegraph explaining how to divide delphiniums, the process was the same as splitting hardy geraniums, has anybody done this with delphiniums and had much success.

I haven't read the artical, but it's dead easy to divide delphiniums. It's too late to do it now - you need to do it early spring - but you just dig up the clump and pull or cut off shoots with roots attached. Simples ;-)
