I am unable to keep lupins over the winter months. I have bought plants in various stages of growth and they have been perfect throughout the summer but they never come back the next year. What can I do?

That is really odd. Lupins are a fully herbaceous hardy perennial that can survive very cold winters. Could be that you have very poor soil or that something is eating the roots. Without being able to ask you questions it is difficult to answer - could you join us Guest so we can learn more of the problem.
