Sorry Mick, looked in your photos, can't see any pics of roses there. How long have you had the roses and what are they and did you prune at all either last autumn or earlier this year?

thanks--------pruned last year and february this year-----spoken to a good friend advised me to try and interlace them a across the trellis try and prevent shooting upwards.
