Hi Gypsygirl and welcome to GoY you can grow your vine against a wall provided it is south or west facing. You will need to attach either a trellis or 3 horizontal wires to the wall so that you can tie the vine into them. Take a look at growfruitandveg_growinggrapevines1 for more info.
