we have a 60 ft monkey puzzle tree (in chiswick, west london) which sadly does not look happy. many of the branches are now brown (@ 15-20% of the tree) and will subsequently drop off..........does anyone have an answer/solution ?

Perhaps at the end of its life cycle especially if any redevelopement nearbye. Friends bought a town house of six on the site of a bungalow. They got the one with the MP tree. Looked OK when they moved in. Not long before it started to fail and had to be removed.
