I have my Spring Festival Camelia still growing in a pot.
But wondered if it would grow better if planted in the ground.

And check the ph of the soil.....
I have one growing in neutral with a yearly iron tonic
its full of buds but only the sheltered ones usually survive even though its west facing......

Most shrubs grow better in the ground. Just make sure it isn't somewhere that the sun can get on the frosted buds in early spring.
