Although often grown as a biennial, sweet Williams can last several years. If left in this way they will become a little straggly but can easily be trimmed. so the answer is yes but a breakthrough in breeding has created a new form of Sweet William called the Noverna Mixed. New on the market this year, Noverna is radically different since you will not have to wait for the flowers. Plant the seeds in spring and you should begin to see flowers within weeks. With regular deadheading they should continue to look stunning from May through to September. Noverna Mixed includes a wide range of colours and the blooms are sweetly scented to give your borders aroma-appeal.
