I have two large Cordylines which are about 15ft tall. Last winter they got covered in snow and now I find that the tops of these plants have died and the leaves have left! All I`m left with are two 15ft sticks. Is it worth me cutting them back in the hope they will sprout from the stump or are they dead and best removed?

They may still come back, Baconballs, but it's getting late for them to do so. The original crowns are unlikely to return at this point, but give them until mid June to produce new sprouts on the trunk or base. Also, welcome!
