I have had my strawberry patch for years with wonderful berries every year, this year alot of my berries have mushy discolored spots, the spots almost lack color. Does anyone know what is causing this, and is there any way to prevent this happening to more of the berries. I did have some good berries, but I don't want to lose the crop I wait all year for!! HELP!!

When watering the plants try not to get water on the fruit! THis can cause the soggyness. also try to keep the fruit off the soil.
