If you teach your children not to eat things that they do not know are safe, then all plants are safe. Nearly all of the plants that we grow in the garden will cause an upset stomach if eaten.

Solanum Rantonnetii is poisonous (white Solanum) and so are the blues

All parts of Potato Vine (Solanum jasminoides) are mildly poisonous. Best to teach your children not to eat things you don't vouch for, or keep them out of reach.
