I have had several Begonia Metallica plants, and have cloned them several times by rooting smaller leaves. None of the plants produced has ever flowered, why I wonder? Just to sure what I had was a Metallica, I'll describe the leaf. It's a very glossy dark green when new, almost looks varnished, with a red underside and prominent red veins. Is that a Metallica? Sorry, no photo.

Next question
you can check if your plant is Metallica by googling begonia metallica - there are images available on line. The leaves are as you describe, except they're wrinkled or creased. If you're feeding, make sure its a balanced feed and not just very high nitrogen.
