I have 2 standard bays in containers and I have had them approx. 6/7 years. The leaves are now yellowish and have a black soot on them. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with them and if they are salvageable???? I really don't want to lose them. I wonder if I should replant and feed? Thanks Paula

If they've been in the same containers all that time, I should think they're completely potbound by now. Turn them out to check, but sounds as if they either need much larger pots, planting into the garden or replacing. Black soot could be sooty mould, so they may need spraying with a fungicide.
