i have some allium plants growing and don't know what they are. they have much thicker stems which are white. may sound dumb, but cannot recall if i decided to try leeks this past fall, but have never seen this plant before. some of the stems are double, as if there are 2 bulbs sending up stalks. there are stalks with bulbs at the top. these are NOT hard neck garlic scapes. and they do not look like the leftover onions from last year that are now growing. the bulb is allium shaped but they have a fuller bottom and a longitudinal striation. does this sound familiar to anyone?
