what can I use instead of Doronicum Orientale/Little Leo in my garden?

On plant Doronicum orientale

Answers

Can't think of anything similar for the same time of year. There are other doronicums though, mostly quite a bit taller. A clump of the latest flowering daffodils might do? If have some coming out now when all tho others have just about finished.

Euphorbia polychroma is just starting to flower here in southern England. The flower is a different shape from a doronicum and has a slight green tinge, but is mainly yellow.

How do I say thanks?
