Growing bare root roses (3 different varieties) in a new bed, planted out in December. Some are growing ok with variable vigour. With a few plants they have put out new leaves and stems over the past month, then just seemed to have stopped for the past 2 weeks with no further signs of continued growth, while the others continue to grow.

Is this quite normal for this time of year?

I suppose it might depend on the variety of rose? Did you feed them when you planted them? Try a little B, f & b round the slower ones. It might spur them on!
