I don't lift tulip bulbs. I leave them where they are and they seem to come back OK every year. I'm a bit worried about next year's show though as we had such dry and cold, then dry and hot, then dry cold, then hot weather that the leaves died off early so I don't think they were able to make much fuel for next year. Too late to do anything about it now though. I just hope that they got enough nutrients from the slow release fertiliser I added round them last autumn to get by.
