try putting rubber gloves on-- I find that I can do most things with gloves on !
hose the pot and then brush with a hand brush should sort it :o)

I hate spiders too - get a long handled broom, put on boots and gloves and a coat if it makes you feel more protected, and a hat or hood up (helps to think they won't get on you), knock the pot upside down in an open space with the broom, bash it a few times, now flick it over and shove the brush part of the broom inside and swing it about a bit. Run away and leave it for a while, then come back and have a peep to see if they've gone. If not, repeat the process.

the problem is is that there fully grown hairy ones and the pot is huge but the spiders have little egg sacks and there orange legged hairy ones ewwwwwww

Come on now, you can do it... it's either that or wait a week or two for them to hatch out and disappear. Don't forget they eat the beasties that like to eat your plant!

mums will do anthing for a cup of tea. :)
